Student Organizations
At Ä¢¹½TV, there are many opportunities for students to be involved in service. The three organizations listed below represent a few options of how students can give back to the campus community:
Campus Delegate Team (CDT)
The Campus Delegate Team works closely with the Office of Admissions to help recruit prospective students and to help get the word out about Ä¢¹½TV at various schools and churches. As a member of CDT, a student will be responsible for assisting with campus tours, housing students for overnight visits, traveling to recruitment events, mailing postcards to prospective students, and helping with Maroon and Gold Days. Applications for membership in the Campus Delegate Team are available each spring semester. For more information, please contact Kaylan Stewart at 731-989-6403 or at [email protected].
University Program Council (UPC)
The University Program Council provides activities and entertainment for students while they’re enrolled at Freed-Hardeman. Past shows have included Dr. Jim Wand the hypnotist; concerts by Dave Barnes, Ben Rector and Ingram Hill; Acrobats of Hebei China; comedian Henry Cho; and an iceless skating rink. Throughout the semester, UPC sponsors several events, including carnivals, coffeehouse concerts and more. Applications for membership in the University Program Council are available in the spring semester. For more information, please contact Tony Allen at 731-989-6055 or at [email protected].

Intramural Sports
Freed-Hardeman offers a variety of intramural sports to provide recreation and competition while helping you keep physically fit throughout your school year. There are three different levels of skill and competitiveness: A, AA and AAA. So whether you’re a seasoned athlete or you’ve never stepped onto a field before, there’s a spot for you. We offer seasonal sports in softball, flag football, basketball and volleyball. You can play with your club team or with an independent team made up of various friends or members of your dorm.
Intramural sports are a great way to develop friendships while enjoying healthy competition.
