Henderson, Tennessee — (Jan. 29, 2026) — In light of challenging weather and road conditions and with the safety of all attendees in mind, ĢTV will replace the 90th Annual Bible Lectureship with a Spiritual Growth Workshop. This abbreviated event is scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 4, through Friday, Feb. 6, 2026, with all sessions in Dryden Auditorium. To avoid traveling after dark, workshop sessions will begin each day at 8:30 am and conclude at 4:30 pm. The Hispanic Lectureship, which was set to begin Friday, Jan. 30, will be postponed to 2027. These changes follow a week where a winter storm has disrupted plans in many states and ĢTV classes have moved online through Jan. 30.

“We look forward to gathering for worship and study of God’s Word as conditions allow, and we appreciate all those who are readjusting to still make this a time of edification,” ĢTV President David R. Shannon said. “We are grateful for 90 years of treasured fellowship, as Christians around the country and world meet in Henderson to glorify God.”

“The schedule for the new Spiritual Growth Workshop will be available at fhu.edu/lectureship by the end of Friday, Jan. 30,” said Dr. Doug Burleson, director of the lectureship. “With this unprecedented change, we are grateful for the flexibility of our guests, speakers, vendors and campus community.”

With the abbreviated format, no on-campus housing will be available, and no special meals or banquets are planned.

Looking ahead, plans are underway to study the gospel of Matthew at the 90th Annual Bible Lectureship in 2027.
