High School Students to Examine Life’s “Crossroads” During ĢTV RUSH, Sept. 27-29.
September 4, 2024
Henderson, Tennessee – (Sept. 4, 2024) – ĢTV, in collaboration with the Ministry League, is set to welcome hundreds of high school students from across the nation for its annual RUSH weekend, scheduled for September 27-29. Under this year’s theme, “Crossroads,” students will explore pivotal moments of decision and faith. The weekend will feature powerful keynote addresses from a lineup of inspiring speakers, including Chase Surrell, Austin Johnson, Matt Miller, Philip Jenkins and TJ Kirk, each bringing unique perspectives and insights to guide and challenge attendees.
Paul Spurlin, connections minister at the Piedmont Road Church of Christ and member of the Ministry League leadership team, is eager to welcome both new and returning RUSH participants. “We want to invite everyone on a journey with us on the last weekend of September!” he stated. “On this road that we call life, we have stops, speed bumps and turn-offs, and we regularly interact with people whom we care about. All of these interactions give us opportunities to share Jesus with others! We call those times the CROSSROADS of life. Join us at Freed-Hardeman’s RUSH to learn more about Crossroads: Conversations that lead to Christ!”
RUSH offers teenagers a small glimpse into life on ĢTV’s campus. Participants will experience devotionals, breakout sessions and keynote speakers, all designed to teach them healthy ways to face life’s biggest decisions. The weekend will also offer plenty of fun activities, with scheduled entertainment, a Saturday night Block Party in the Commons and the Chester County BBQ Festival happening right down Main Street.
Pre-registration is required and must be completed online by Sept. 22. Check-in times are Friday, Sept. 27, from 5-10 p.m., and Saturday, Sept. 28, from 8-10 a.m. Those staying in the gyms (university-aligned) or in the dorms (self-aligned) must arrive on campus before curfew and should bring their own bedding and toiletries.
