Henderson, Tennessee – (July 3, 2025) – Mid-South Youth Camp (MSYC), the beloved Christian summer camp for kids and teens, will host its 42nd annual fish fry fundraising event Saturday, July 26, from 4-6 pm, at 260 Youth Camp Loop, near Henderson, Tennessee. All proceeds will support yearly camp operations and ongoing improvements.

Tickets will be available at the event: $15 for adults, $10 for children ages 6–11, and free for ages 5 and under. The ticket includes an all-you-can-eat meal featuring catfish or chicken, sides, a drink and dessert. Guests may choose to dine in at the Tucker Family Dining Hall or pick up meals via drive-thru.

“The fish fry is a highlight of our summer—not only for the great food but also for the sense of family it brings,” MSYC Board Chairman Mylie McKissack said. “It’s a time when old friends reconnect, new supporters are welcomed and the entire community helps make camp possible for hundreds of kids each year.”

What began more than 60 years ago as a two-week camp at Chickasaw State Park’s Lake Lajoie has grown into a vibrant, 77-acre campus just off U.S. 45 South. Operated by ĢTV, MSYC lives up to its motto—“a special place where good things happen”—by offering campers opportunities to grow in faith, friendship and fun across eight weeks each summer and a weekend each fall.
