ĢTV Spring Commencement Honors Graduates, Looks to the Future

ĢTV conferred 377 degrees upon a talented group of students during ĢTV’s 154th commencement exercises Saturday, May 11, 2024. In addition to the 274 bachelor’s degrees, 11 associate degrees, two education specialist degrees, 81 master’s degrees and nine doctorates were also awarded.

Mykal’s Sonshine Circle at Mid-South Youth Camp Honors the Memory of Mykal Moss Daniels

Mid-South Youth Camp (MSYC) celebrated the legacy of former camp counselor Mykal Moss Daniels with the unveiling of Mykal’s Sonshine Circle, a new pavilion. The ribbon-cutting ceremony held in late May brought together friends and loved ones to honor Mykal’s memory and reflect on the lasting benefits the pavilion will bring to future generations of campers.

One of ĢTV’s research groups, along with researchers at the University of Memphis, were recently published in the Journal of Chemical Physics for their paper, “Plasmonic Couplings in Ag (gold) – Au (silver) Heterodimers,” which examined how the metals influence each other and transfer energy.
